Where will you be in September 2024?

In my last post I alluded to the fact that I had big news in 2024 - and it had to do with art and Italy - 2024 and Italy you say? Sounds like a good combination. So what am I getting at.

Well, I am humbled and honored to have been asked to teach in Orvieto Italy in September 2024.

I have found that the best collages emerge from inspiration, coupled with sound techniques. In this class in Orvieto, Italy you will find both!

My collage techniques thrive on the use of layering different types of papers like vellum, rice paper, ripped washi papers, tape and more. While you are certainly welcome to bring all of your favorite papers I will also bring along my personal “stash” of favorites for you to use and incorporate into your own masterpieces.

I will also provide several sources of inspiration including my own work and a digital display of works which I will run on the computer throughout the course. We will have more than enough between our Orvieto surroundings and these additional resources to keep us inspired as we create together.

I am so looking forward to our experience together. Imagine spending these days together in Orvieto Italy. If creating art together is not enough fun in and of itself, imagine doing it together in Italy.
