Who doesn't love a good journal flip through

I know you have seen a lot of these girls here and here, and you know what - there are even more here and I will explain why. I am obsessed thanks to Tony who invited me to participate in his story (See the full story here ). Since then, I have seen these girls “grow” in leaps and bound.

I played with backgrounds and details. Did I want to include all the details of what I thought these girls were doing and thinking or did I want to leave it to your imagination?

I did both and then I realized, I think expression is everything. It was better for your to figure out what they were thinking/doing. If I could get the expression right - you would get it.

Above - I wouldn’t try it - would you?

On the right - Don’t you think she’s off to somewhere ? but where?

Okay can anyone deny this one is a painter?

And there are so many more - I have filled more than 4 journals of over 40 pages each with these girls. SO - I made a quick flip through video and this is only 1 of 4 journals and there are probably still more in me.

I have had hours and hours of pleasure drawing these girls. Just getting them to do different things and figuring out how to show different expressions.

I first pencil draw the girls, over and over. Sometimes I can draw 10 in a day when it comes easy, and some days less. Sometimes the imagination, (and the ability) flows and some days it doesn’t.

I want to be able to draw more and more so that I can have more material to paint with my watercolors. It’s like having a coloring book of things I want to paint. So the more the better.

I don’t know where she’s going but - bulky turtleneck, pink-camo skirt - she know who she is!

The dog clearly has to be walked!
